This week I am going to challenge myself. It is going to be hard but I am determined to do it.
When I first joined WW, I didn’t own a scale. So every week when I went to WI, it was a surprise to me how well I did on the scale. Of course I could tell if I was a little up because I could feel it in my body. But then I asked for a scale for xmas of 2009. Then my life changed. I began obsessed with weighing myself ALL.THE.TIME.
At first my scale matched up with my scale at WW, so it was great. I knew exactly how much I gained or loss each week before I went to the meeting on Tuesdays. Then all of a sudden my scale didn’t match up with theirs. So I changed the batteries in mine, nope still didn’t change, it still didn’t match up. So I went out and bought a new scale. Now I have two scales at home in two different bathrooms that tell me two different numbers. Can you see where obsession comes in?
You become obsessed with the numbers that they tell you. If your, up you get disappointed. If you are down, you are happy. But then when you weigh yourself 3 hours later and you are up again you get disappointed.
~The Challenge~
I am locking away my scales for a week. I am not going to weigh myself at all this week. When I step on the scale on Tuesday morning it will be like the old days. A complete surprise.
I can do it! I just have to keep telling myself that!!!!!
Does anyone else weigh themselves way too much?
